ok for around the same price xxx and w6 arent even in the same class lol. you are comparing a more powerful sub vs a much smaller sub, its like comparing an idq vs an idmax

The AQ is a good amp & yes it puts out "clean"power. The Sundown is a higher quality amp though.

i didnt say that dude someone else did...scroll up! and in response to why not get loud for cheap? there's nothing wrong with that, but loud is not everyone's goal contrary to popular belief.

Show me a pair of 300-400w rated subs on a IX1000.1 four years down the line. Now show me the same subs on the AQ1200. I'll show you two blown subs. The price difference is in the THD, the clean signal output. There are a lot of amp lines out there that have it, but AQ isn't one to put out rated CLEAN power on the same level. There is a reason for price discretion in amplifiers. It isn't about output, it's about clean signal output.

in my opinion I always wanted to get w3 subs. honestly in my opinon they are great sounding subs. I have just always found something else. I use to run 2 alumapro bp-series 12's with a kicker 700 watt amp. those subs with that amp hit really hard, low and had great sq. very hard hitting accurate subs. when my windows were rolled down I would be felt from a block away no lie. the neighbor ask me to turn them down because I was vibrating things of their baby shelves. has anyone else actually heard these subs done right?

You completely missed the point, I stated that its all about every woofer having its purpose. Sure you can buy 2 or 3 hdc3s for the price of a w7 but which willsound better. You're just concerned with getting loud for cheap, which in that case you rightfully should not be running JL.
