I need to replace a sub, and on a budget. I had a Kicker CompVR with I blew because I hooked it up wrong:banghead:
1. I'll be running it with a Kenwood KAC-9102D 850RMS mono @ 2 Ohms
2. I need it to fit into a Camaro Subthump Stealth Box. .6 ft^3 10"hole. I dunno If I could cut to make a 12" hole... probably not.
3. I listen to everything from Zeppelin to Dylan to the Beatles to Megadeth to Rage Against the Machine to Pearl Jam to DMB to Jack Johnson. I listen to very little rap. So, I want SQ, but I still like the bass loud.
SO I'm looking for the best 10" SQL(term?) that can handle 850RMS at 2Ohm and is at home in a very small enclosure for under $200.
I was seriously looking at an eD 11Ov.3 because it fits all my requirements: seems like a quality sub for a great price WITH A 5 YR WARRANTY.
I see alot of people don't like them because of there business practices, but I have not read any complaints about there products recently.
What might give me a better Bang for the Buck?
