Just build a new box with the 3 4in aero's . Its gonna mess up your tuning by adding the other one.

adding an aero wont work. a guy has 4 12'' of your subs and 3 4'' aeros running a 155. port area will not hurt you that much.

I bassraced a 136 or 7 with 1 12 and 3k watts in my Expedition. As a daily driver, it was plenty loud for me. My 15 was louder, but I never got it metered. I doubt 1 12 in a trunk car is going to do a 140 without a lot of work.

Dont listen to most of the peeps,fvck the 4" areos,shot for 2-2.25 cubes @ 40 hz with 1 6 inch areo port,done deal.I am sure most of ur proplem is the shitty/poor designs of ur box.

and yes thats exactly what my box looks like except sub is more to the right and bottom wedge is an 1nch or 2 bigger (i just re-measured) 4'' areo port 18'' long. it was built and designed by micheal huges, but i assumed he knew what he was doing based on his other designs and box enclousures as well he is familiar with hd3s, and my box fits perfectly in my mustang trunk....!!!F-en A...so did i mess up there?

Dude u anit tuned now wheres near 38 hz,most likey closer to 28hz,go cut the areo down to about 7 inches I am postive that would be a night and day difference.

Cut it to 8" from flare to flare and it and it should put u in the 38-40 hz range.

Our AUDIOWERKS shop Jeep hit 141.3 on music. 2 12"s, 1600w, 4cf box w/ twin aeroports. Plenty loud for a parts runner IMO.

140 on music is pretty loud. the kind of loud that people that have never heard 160 before go OMGS IS THAT REAL!?

but to me, its just a loud daily driver. its average IMO - but way above average to like 90% of people lol.

Co-sign. My previous set-up was in the 140's. It was **** loud for daily driver. And like you say, louder than what 90% of people have heard from a daily driven car stereo. It definately turned heads

Serious question...why so many watts needed to to hit what I hit with 500w on two 12's? I hit 144 in a S-10 blazer (don't remeber the decimal point) on two W3v2's and a 500/1. Each 12 was in a generic ported box. They weren't built specifically for the sub.
