Whats 140dbs suppose to sound like?

Ok, i have 2k worth of power, hd3 12'', Custom box loud built to my mustang specs. i am not loud, what am i doing wrong? help me get to 140

ok well 140 is all said and good, but you dont even know what your at now. i would suggest getting metered so you can see how much work you got ahead of you first.

so point in just upping or lowering enclosure volume if you need to gain 7db's to reach 140. know what i mean?

RD put me off a long time ago when i read about their reps.

and minimum the rd 1750.1 does 1600 on 8 volts. on my eletrical i should be doing no less than 1700.1 perhaps between 1800-2k these amps are underated.

could be a problem im facing...but These amps have been Benched and testedand minimum the rd 1750.1 does 1600 on 8 volts. on my eletrical i should be doing no less than 1700.1 perhaps between 1800-2k these amps are underated.

These amps don't shut off at 8V?

If so, it's about 1.6 cubes tuned to 30hz. Your HD3 shouldn't sound all that great in it and it probably shouldn't seem loud. Who built and designed that enclosure?

No i dont have Test thats what i was told by the owner of RD.

and yes thats exactly what my box looks like except sub is more to the right and bottom wedge is an 1nch or 2 bigger (i just re-measured) 4'' areo port 18'' long. it was built and designed by micheal huges, but i assumed he knew what he was doing based on his other designs and box enclousures as well he is familiar with hd3s, and my box fits perfectly in my mustang trunk....!!!F-en A...so did i mess up there?

What year mustang do you have? The style before the new ones came out is hella hard to work around because of the trunk opening.
