I can't stress enough to you people, if you don't like the way I do things, the way I speak, the way I respond, or me period, stay the fuck off my threads, it's that simple. Obviously you guys aren't well educated if you have to come in and say some dumb unwanted shit. When I ask for someones opinion this car audio forum is to help people figure out things and come up with new ideas. It is not for people to come in and bash people with unwanted responses, so, as long as you do it to me i'll do it back you! Understand that mother fuckers? Back on topic. I throw a vote in for them lanzars. Years back I had 4 lanzar maxp15's in an explorer. Sub up port up. They'll take 4-500rms and stay beating forever. I also had some kicker cvr 15's at the time, compared the maxp and cvrs and it was a very close comparison. I never thought this.would be said with seriousness but, the sound quality on the cvrs was a Tad better I remember. But as far as output i dont think i gave the edge to ether

The cvrs were the tannish/brownish cone with the black dustcap so they were some older ones if that makes any difference for the comparison.

The cvrs would have to be better quality. Not with my experience though, Imma put that one on luck maybe. Once I dropped down to 2 15's and running em them on 700rms apiece, the tinsels on the kickers tapped out after a few months. Both brands got stinky on 700rms each but in that department the cvrs seemed to take it a Tad better.

But yea... for how cheap those lanzars out they will get loud, but they won't sound to pretty doing it. And they lasted a good couple years to. As time went on I'd care less and less and abuse em more and more but they took it good.

Yea definitely the 4 12s over the 15s. A 15 has always been my preferred size but it does **** trying to get a pair in a trunk. So when I am thinking of a trunk build its multiple 12s or a single 18 that come to mind. I've done a few trunk builds with single 15s that when people hear they get confused when I tell them its a single speaker. And if it happens to be American bass in trunk which is usually the case ill tell them its a cheapo knockoff brand just to confuse them more Haha. Most people are used to the sound of the average crappy 2 12's, couple hundred Watt, prefab box setups that seem to make up 80% of the sub setups where I live.

Yea I ha a type r 15 and wasnt too satisfied even on 1200 rms but then again it was sealed I didnt take the time too really bring it out sold it for 200 and was happy hell I only paid 180 lol
