alright guys.. here is an update... the guy CONTINUES to try and demand more.. i guess..

What lie did you catch me in? nothing at all! all three boxes were sent together at the same time! that is exactly what happened. i resent you MORE parts. they were all 3 shipped at teh same time. as i said. delviery confirmation says that the "item" was delivered (all 3 boxes.. 1 shipment=all 3 boxes) you can go back and forth with me all you would like. but.. end of story, you are getting NOTHING more from me. at this point i am left to simply believe you are trying to scam me for EVEN MORE than you have already bled out of me. well.. no more. im tapped out man. end deal. i guess we both lose here:rolleyes:
would you have done things differently?

 
as far as the dustcaps.. the "lost" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif (at this point, i am really thinking it wasnt lost at all;)) well.. i sent him ALL the matching ones i did in the "lost" box.. i resent MORE that i hoped would work.. without still having the cones.. i cant match that well:laugh:

 
Dude your fast. I haven't even finished reading your first post in this thread and your already liying. Let me finish reading and I will tell the way it really happened.

 
I think you're getting screwed visitor. I work in the delivery business and believe me, when a delivery has three different parts the driver knows, it shows up on his handheld so there's no way there should be a three box delivery and only two were given. Unless the driver stole it there's no way it shouldn't have been given. Then it'd have to be taken up with usps and you shouldn't be involved at all.

 
looks like you did more than your fair share 02p.a.. i'd wipe my hands of that whole transaction knowing you did the right thing (actually more than many others would do) and i'd would just ignore him. seems it's his fault, or possibly usps, but either way you're in the right.

 
and to clear it up.. from waht the post office explained to me, for the items to be listed as "delivered" all 3 boxes would have had to be scanned at drop off:)
tis true, if all three aren't scanned it won't come up as a completed delivery in the handheld.

 
You will never see him ever... Tell him that you compensated him for the loss as best you could, and if he doesn't agree, to "**** off".............. This happened to me once before... I sent a guy a graphics card, and he claimed he never received it... I sent him a full refund only b/c he was a local retailer, and I did not buy delivery con. or insurance....

 
Alright- long story short- I sold a member here a bunch of parts (several coils, a basket, cones,etc) It was 3 boxes. he paid promptly, i shipped promptly. time comes, he says he only got 2 of the 3 boxes (even though delivery confirmation said he got all 3) and he said he was, of course.. missing some parts. so.. i STILL resent more parts, to be nice, and because honestly, i don't know what happened to that 3rd box (even though it says delivered.. for all i know, the guy has it) and offered him a partial refund. he gets back to me today saying "i still don't have these certian coils, i don't know how to make it more clear" and he wants to send everything back, and get a FULL refund. i am not willing to do this, simply because i am not giving him all of his money back for me to get only SOME of the parts back. so.. on top of the extra parts i sent him, i sent him an ADDITIONAL $60 back (this was a $300 sale, fwiw) what would YOU have done?
Ok, first of all. I understand that this is a thread and everyone in entitled to their own opinions, but before you start to comment you should know all the facts.

Yes his receipt says that he shipped three boxes, which only one of them was confirmed delivery. Quit implying that all three boxes were confirmed because it only shows that you paid for one confirmation. I see now that the boxes where sent, but they where never received Why did you wait until today to show me the receipt, when I told you two weeks ago that I was missing some parts and that I only received two boxes. I don't understand why you couldn't pay the extra $1.50 to confirm the other two boxes. The fact is that I only received the confirmed box and one other that I received three days later. Not only that, I received 4 dust caps that were not in great condition, but I didn't complained about that, although I did complained about 2 that were different styles and the other 2 that didn't even fit.
