What would you do if someone broke into youre house while you were there?

I dont know if there has been any threads like this posted. I have not been here in a while. I figured I would rather post and get some fresh answers.

So what would you do if someone broke into your house while you were there?

I personally would let the intruders hear the sound of a 3" magnum 00 buck being loaded into the chamber. And if that did not slow them down, then there would be a big mess.

I actually had someone try to break into the house a few nights back and I racked the slide on the 12 guage and they ended up leaving. lol. Thats why I am posting this. I was just curious as to what some of you would do in the same situation.

i suspect most will say they would blast a hole in someone or crack their skull with a bat. it'll be hard to tell which people would actually hide under the bed.

From time to time there are some drug deals that go down around the area here. We constantly have gus coming to the front door looking for a fix.

But as long as they dont come inside in the middle of the night, the 3 12 guages will stay at bay. lol

theres a gun cabinet right outside my door so i suppose id shatter the glass and **** the shotgun, if they havent run off i would yell for someone to call the cops ... if they still havent run off i would probably fire a shot into the roof or ground

i would do everything possible not to actually shoot them, to many laws protecting criminals

i'm on parole and can't own a gun. i have a hockey stick sawed off to 3 feet or so. i have yet to have to use it though. my 2 dogs do a pretty good job at detering any nonsense.
