What would be a louder setup 4 12s or 2 18s?

Cone area = pi x (r x r)

pi = 3.14 r = radius of sub

Two 18" = 508.94

Four 12" = 452.39

I guess I recind my original statement.

surface area of 12 = 355

surface area of 18 = 800

Not necessarily, there are way too many variables to answer which will be louder. I was just curious because everyone was measuring the cone area of round 12s not square 12s.
