dd t1510 need recone?

hey guys.

well i pulled my subs today and i thought they were both roasted. well one was definitely done. voice coils were torn up and black. well the other one looked ok i guess. the coils both read 4 ohms but they coils were a little black. i noticed they got quieter after a while. does this mean they are ok or should i get them reconed?

whats happening is that sence the coils is kinda cooked, makes it harder for current to pass threw thus rasing the ohm load wen playing makeing you amp put out less power,, that is probly why there getting quiter

well the coils are still reading 4 ohms..... or does that not matter?
