What will sound best with my equipment.....Skar/NVX/Pioneer/JBl?

8s can get very nasty these days. The SA8 is very popular and you will be able to add power in the future if you wanted to. I still think the SD would be good. Look up what a under hung coil is. You don't see those much anymore.

The SD's are 500rms a piece im not sure i could run those, also i just read up on a under hung coil, it had gotten a lot of negativity about how it wasn't efficient and they didn't allow cones to have high xmax. I was only wondering about the 8's im most likely going to build a custom fiberglass box in the near future, and your saying the Dcons are my best bet for that?

The under hung coil gives you very low distortion through the entire stroke. A lot of people preceve distortion as output. And don't work so much about RMS. It don't mean a whole lot. Those are taken using full tilt sine waves for hours at a time.

Gotcha, but lets say im going to get a custom fiberglass enclosure in the near future, would the Dcons still be my best option?

measure the dimensions for the fiber glass enclosure? well lets say its a 1.2cu ft box

displacement for the dcons are .10 per sub :/ so im back down to a 1 cu box but still thats good, so do you think the dcons will work for now good in my current box then when i get my new box they will still sound amazing but better? like do you think the dcons will work for what i need them to do? Good low hitting bass?

1 cube per Dcon 10 is good. I often run a Dcon 12 in a 1.1 sealed with 1/2 lbs. of polyfill.

so im either going with the SD-2 10's from sundown or the Dcon 10's they will soon be going in a fox box, any opinion on the two subs?
