I havent kept up with Eclipse lately, I heard they are going down hill, is this true. I know their Older subs slammed hard. I really like getting deals... so when I can get old school audiophile stuff at current entry level prices I jump on it.... but I won't pass up a deal on new stuff if the price is right.. like my zapco ref 350.2 I got for 150 shipped...

I remember my Jlw6 8" sub, that little thing was amazing, I miss that thing. When I had that in my s-10 nobody believed it was a single 8" sub.

nice... they were nice subs... I had them in truck boxes forever and they weren't all that great... then I put it in my womans car in the "recommended" box and it suddenly rocked... cool sub

my favorite though was arguing with some pin head that thought he new everything, he was saying that JL never made a 10w4... I even showed him the **** web page and he wouldn't believe me...

I b**ched him out and then took his 12" OZ Audio sub, so I think I made out. He fried the coil ugly, it was as stiff as a dead body.

the oz was probably worth it... I'd murder someone if they broke my subs... but I have good friends, they'd replace it

Same here, I am the one that got all my friends into the car audio scene. I have one particular friend when we were younger, we used to see who had the loudest. Who ever didnt went and bought something else, or added more. TO me it was fun, all my other friends thought we were crazy.
