I had 4 Crunch Pro 10's running off a 4 ch. Targa amp. I think this was '90 or '91. I'm glad to say that was the worst amp I've owned, but the subs were not bad at all. I think I paid less than $200 for all of them. (My dad still has one of them) I built my own box and I thought I was the sh1t! It was loud as hell though! I guess looking back it was pretty funny but I have definitely seen worse.

I remember the Crunch subwoofers, they wearnt bad at all, as far as the amp Targa was crap.

i started off with 2 12"IDQs never had them powered or heard them and switched to a 15" avalanche and that was in my truck. for my boat its an aw1206t(audiobahn)

aI guess my first was a Kicker SSII box, it had 2 8's with horns and two 10" downfiring passive radiators. My sister had it given to her from some guy, who probably was trying to score. We shared a car, I bought an amp to power it and I went off to college for a year and barely got to listen to them. When I came back she gave them to me, but one of the 8's had seperated from the surround. I glued it together sold it cheap to my friend, who prompty had the amp/box stolen.

I bought a set of Kicker Competitions 10's, work great for a few years, sold them off to my same friend, someone broken in and stole them as shortly after as well. The Kicker had an extended 3 year warranty, I tried to blow the damn thing just before the warranty ended with my amp bridged and clipping, but I only ended up blowing fuses and ruining a battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Same happened to my older Kickers the surround came apart. They were also impossible to destroy, they could handle anything you threw at them.

2 Targa 10s in about a 3 cu ft box( I thought the bigger the better back then) on a Targa 200w amp. I thought they were the the shit. I was wrong.

Somewhere around 1984-85. I bought a generic set of RADIOSHACK woofers. I think they were like 30 bucks each if memory serves. I put them in a huge box and ran them straight from the HU. It sounded like CRAP. Please keep this close to the vest. I would hate for it to get out.
