The first Kickers I had were all black and said "KICKER" in the center in gold, dont even know what model or what.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif
Kicker Competitions, with the mica/polypropelyn cone, and stitched surround, capable of 300watts rms if I recall correctly. I had a pair too,(12's) in a wierd solobaric/ported box....ended up building a new sealed one myself, since the output was kinda lacking. I must say, it slammed pretty hard. I wonder what I would think about its sound today?
Edit: Probably sounded like *** in retrospect, as I used particle board, and had them face each other only a few inches apart.
Which leads me to my next thought, as I build up my current system, there's always a persistent thought in the back of my head..."its not as good as your best one". Which had an alpine 7390 tape deck, along with a 3342 eq, and I want to say either a punch dsm 40 and a 60 (40-mids, 60-bass) or a 60/100...can't recall. And this leads me to wonder...with the system I have now, how can it NOT be louder? Its gotta be...so I am holding my current system up to some nonexsistent standard. Which reminds me, pics of the trunk coming soon, once I find a place to host it.
Sorry for the offtopic ramble!
