I didnt say all christians. I said stupid Christians. I have grown up and lived in a conservative town where everyone has their blinders on thinking that their way is the only way. They do care about gay people and thats fine. I can agree that they shouldnt get married, but neither should people who have been divorced or cheated or have open relationships. Marriage is a religious covenant and if you are going to uphold part of it you might as well uphold all of it. There should be civil unions for everyone so the legal rights are the same. If you want to get married, go to your church or mosque or whatever and do it on your own time, independent of the government.
