Haven't been to a whole lot of concerts, but all of them were good.
2001 Q101 Jamboree: Disturbed, Papa Roach, Staind, Crazy town, Fuel, Cold, Run-DMC, Alien Ant Farm, Monster Magnet, Linkin Park, Lucky Boys Confusion, From Zero, and Saliva.
-Disturbed kicked some serious *** (they actually filmed part of a music video at the venue I was at), Crazy Town sucked major balls, along with Linkin Park (this is when they were a fairly new band and they REALLY relied on computers and shit, very bad for a live show). Alien Ant Farm and From Zero were pretty good as well. Run-DMC was...well, Run-DMC. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Local H at a small venue
-Completely stoned off my *** and don't remember a d*mn thing....
Poison, Skid Row, Vince Neil
-Poison headlined this one and they put on a good show as well. We missed most of Skid Row since we got there late. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Vince Neil pretty much relied on playing Motley Crue songs, which was fine with me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
KISS and Poison
-Poison opened up for KISS and once again they did a good job. But man, KISS was f*cking SPECTACULAR live. Talk about putting on a good show. GOD D*MN LOUD though, holy piss. Stacks and stacks and stacks of cabinets, probably about 20-25 feet high. We were probably 50 rows back and I couldn't hear shit afterwards.
ZZ Top, REO Speedwagon, The Pretenders, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Stray Cats
-Missed all of Joan Jett and most of the Stray Cats. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif REO Speedwagon was good and ZZ Top rocked out. Even for a couple of old guys they had girls throwing their bras at them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
