what was the best concert you've ever been to?

Seen deftones 5 times live.Twice outside and 3 times inside a smaller venue.

The inside shows were alot better imo.

They are my favorite band by the way.

Ozzfest 07 was the best concert I have ever been to, it was really cool smoking a few joints in public not having a care in the world //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The mosh pits were cool too, really brotherly in the since if anyone fell they were back up as fast as the people around them could pick them up. I fell once and before I realized what is going on I was back on my feet moshing again

I have been to many concerts, so just to pick out the best would be hard to do, but will say that Phil Collins sticks out. Korn is right up there along with Metallica.

Would love to see Rage with Zach back at the helm. Also would die to see ACDC live.

I probably have seen well over 100 concerts in my day from back in the late 70's when I was like 4, lol! I still remember sitting on the lawn watching Fleetwood Mac get down. (Who was really good as well)

Stevie Wonder's Christmas Toys for Tots concert. I got in for free... and there were so many acts I had to start writing them down. Artists were coming out of the audience to perform. A priceless moment, but definitely not the hilight of the night, was when Stevie sang a duet with Sisqo... "The Thong Song." Hilarious. But it was an amazing night to say the least.

Very hard to pick one but here are a few of my favorite concerts.

Aerosmith: Get Your Wings

Jethro Tull: Thick as a Brick

Deep Purple: Machine Head...so loud my ears buzzed for 2 days...made it to the front row standing omg.

Kiss: First Album...forgot the name...amazing show

Edgar Winter: They Only Come Out At Night

I was lucky to live 15 minutes from the Providence Civic Center, and hour from the Boston Garden and the Orpheum and 45 minutes from the Worcester Centrum and during the period from 1972 to 1977 went to a concert every friggin weekend. For the first few years you could get floor tickets for around $10 and it was first and fastest to the stage. We, my friends, would get to the venue early and have a party, attracting a fairly large group of partyers, then line up early to be amongst the first in to get as close to the stage as possible.

Security was tight on alcoholic beverages but did not care about weed so it was like a Cheech n Chong movie the air was so thick and so many people were passing bones.

My stack of ticket stubs was around 3 inches tall...So lucky to be a teen in those days. Alas at some time during one of my moves I somehow lost my ticket stubs and sorely regret the loss because I just can't remember all the bands I was lucky enough to see. Every album release had a corresponding tour and nearly all the bands hit the East Coast. Though I was not lucky enough to see The Who, Yes, Led Zep...though I was at the Garden in line to buy tickets when the place erupted in a riot and they cancelled the concert...ugh.

Thanks for the thread and allowing me to reminisce.

hahaha. no krs one haddd soo much nergy. but john mellencamp is very political. everyone only knows him for his trashy songs of jack and diane and hurts so good. but hes a very good performer with a band to back him up with a lot of talent.

sick and twisted tour with korn and staind. staind just came out and korn just released issues. very very fun show. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
