The settings (Amp is a JL G6600), with a 12" W3 bridging channels 5+6

Stock headunit and stock speakers.

8AWG power and ground.

Other relevant details: fader knob acts as volume for every speaker.

Main question is how is the sub playing, and why is only one channel from the factory headunit to amp being used.

What do you think the installer was attempting to do? I didn't get a chance to take the factory radio out. What is that 1 RCA channel plugged into? Its a VW CC ('10 I believe), without any Premium Sound package. Do you think there is a line-out-converter hidden somewhere?
