You could do that with all kinds of tools... router, multiple sheets cut with table saw etc..

I would use a router with a flush trim bit. But a jig saw would work just fine also.

Router with a template bit using firring strips tacked in place as a guide. Followed with a beading bit to round it off. I'd rough it with a jig saw just to make an easier cut with the template bit. I wouldn't do the final cut with the jigsaw cause I'm not that good with one.

I would cut it with a jigsaw and then round over the edges with a router.
