What to set Xover At ???

what's up...i have a sub an orion xtr 10 and i built a new box for it...the box is tuned at 38Hz

i would like to know what would be a good frequency to set the Xover on the amp at ?

the bandwidth is 50Hz-210Hz

You're screwed thats way to high to crossover to a subwoofer at. The whole point of the sub is subsonic audio reproduction which is 100hz and down to me at the most. I'd buy a subwoofer amp if I were you unless your HU has a built in crossover than I would use that.

what he means is that if your box is tuned at 38hz, and your amp's lowest freq. is 50 hz, your sub will never see its tuned freq. of 38hz.

That and I thought you said 50kHz my fault. Generaly speaking subwoofer amps produce from 5hz-500hz if I'm not mistaken. So you will definitely be suffering in the sub range of bass if your amp can only reproduce down to 50hz.

the deck's xover is set @40Hz which is the lowest

reason i asked this question is because i had a different box before which had a wider range
