Ok here is my problem. I'll try to make this as detailed as possible. I know that the key to every sub is the enclosure and that is where my problem lies. This will be going into a 09 dodge ram extended cab under the rear seat. I know pretty much all prefab boxs (if you can even find one for this truck) are garbage and have very little volume. For that reason I will be sticking with only one sub and don't want to go bigger than a 12. I will be building a custom fiberglass box. My plans were to build the sides and top out of 3/4" mdf and fiberglass the bottom to add that much more to the volume and mounting depth. I have already raised the seat and can alittle higher if need be. I need to allow room for the sub excursion so i'm thinking the most I can have mounting wise is 6.75 MAYBE 7 and i'm thinking about 1.2 cf of volume but i'll know more once i build the box (this weekend hopefully) I guess i could run the box under the whole backseat instead of 3/4 but that will depend on need. What are your thoughts? Also i think it will have to be sealed since it will be very difficult to port. I've been thinking fi ssd 12 but i'm worried about the power it will be getting. So I guess in a nutshell best....
12 sub for 1300 rms
1.2 cuf sealed
max depth of 6.75
12 sub for 1300 rms
1.2 cuf sealed
max depth of 6.75
