What sub(s) with this AMP????

I have an Audiobahn A8000T amp and I'm looking to get a new sub. I currently have an Audiobahn AW1206T brand new in the box...never installed...but I want a sub in a sealed box do to available space. I'll most likely be selling the AW1206T for $100+shipping (just incase anyones interested).

I'm looking for something that I can run at 2ohms...so preferably a single 12" dual 4ohm voicecoil sub. I'm looking for something to go in a 1 - 1.5cu/ft or less. I can spend around 100-150 or so, hopefully I can find something on Ebay.

you can get pioneer subs for cheap, if you don't care about good SQ. there was a dual 4 ohm version awhile back that i installed that bumped hard. I think it was the TS-W2541DVC. you could probably pick one up for under 70 bucks and it uses like .70cu/ft sealed. Its a ten incher, I'm sure there is a 12 inch equivilent though.

Except that you can't wire a Shiva to 2 ohms.

What do the RE subs cost that alot of you guys rave about???

I wouldnt' look into RE with that kinda price range. Unless you wanted to get maybe get a used SE series. BTW the Rec. sealed range for that 1206T is .75-1.25. I would just stick with the sub you have now and put it in a 1.25cf box and stuff with 20oz for polyfill, since your amp is only 800w rms and your sub is 1100

Funny, several people here have said that you can wire two shivas into a 2 ohm load...
