what sub is this?

this company carries a 12" sub that is the old TC db-500 and i was wondering if this 8" sub is/was a sub manufactured by someone else

i am thinking of buying 2 of them for my computer system and running them off my Kenwood Basic-M1 amp

Just by glancing through Pro Tech's website I'd venture a guess they use(d) TC as a build house.

Given the 2" coil, I'd venture a guess it's based on the TC2+
