What sub is louder than a 2 12" MTX 8512?

Wattage - ... depends

Budget - for both subs $800 or under

Purpose - to be the loudest at my school and to sound good

Get a DD 9515/9518, a solid 1500-2000w amp and a good box design. That will destroy those MTX's

Won't be hard to get louder than the 8500's. Here is a cheap option. 2 American Bass XFL 12's and a Hifonics BRZ 2400.1. Put those in the right box and it will destroy the mtx's.
