If your looking for a brand that is cheap and put's out more than you would expect. Look at Xsite. I even found a shop down here that sells them.

Stay away from pyramid, pyle, roadmaster, legacy, lower sony's, cuspid, dhd...

Those brands will "work" but are bottom level brands.

This thread could turn ugly, as there are alot of varrying opinions on certain brands. But the generally accepted 'junk' would be Pyramid, Jensen, Boss, Legacy, Crako (sp), Craig, Denford and Rockwood ( generally avoid companies trying to sound like another company lol).... uhm.... Denford

Denford is not a brand (that I am aware of), it's the "nick-name" given to the Rockford Fosgate RFX-8240 and RFX-8250(Ti) CD players, since they are rebadged Denon units.
