The problem with the iPhone 4 is not the death grip, because its such an akward grip anyways and a speck case will fix the issue (you should have a gel case on your phone if you're smart, its $650-$750 to replace!). The problem is the amount of dropped calls that iPhones are notorious for. Its not just an AT&T issue, although it doesn't help considering there are more dropped calls on X phone on AT&T than X phone on, say, Verizon. Verizon is reporting a higher-than-average amount of dropped calls on their iPhones as well. If you want to make calls, then don't get an iPhone. For that reason, I would probably do fine with an iphone 4.

However, the iPhone 4 doesn't have 2ghz of processing power, Swype, a biometric fingerprint sensor, or Webdock accessories. For that reason, I'll stick with the Atrix //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

No, your point was that the iPhones would sell better if they weren't so expensive. I just proved that they aren't. Before the 3GS was $50, it was $100 ever since the launch of the 4.

uummmm NO!! that wasnt my point... the phone/iOS is and only for at&t.. not even the cdma verizon phone has the new ios on it!! tho ive never seen or looked into it..

my point is very simple.. the phone is limited to att, unlike droids and theres like 20 diff version of the same phone.. all there tryn to do is keep up with apple.. and they are by FLOODING THE MARKET!!

They have 9% more market share than Apple. If anything Apple is trying to keep up with Android phones.

The CDMA (Verizon) iPhone is almost the exact same as the AT&T iPhone. What you said makes no sense.

And like WhiteDragon said, iPhone is struggling to keep up with Android at the moment. The Android Market, last I checked a month or two ago, was at 200,000 apps, while Apple was at 300,000. Android did that in half the time that Apple did, and their Market is still accelerating at a higher rate than the Apple Appstore is. Sure, there are twice as many useless apps for Android as there are for Apple, but that just further evidences the mediation that Apple enforces. Some like it, some don't.

As I said before, I'm not one of those Android people that get a stiffy everytime they find a reason Android is superior to iOS. I still appreciate iOS. I don't think it sucks, I just think it appeals to a different market, almost a non-smartphone market.

Some Android users remind of of Athiests. The majority of online Gordo Granudo athiests on the internet attack Christians in the same way that the majority of Android users attack iPhone users. I'm not saying that one is better than the other, I'm just telling it how it is.

iOS is not a bad OS, it's just not for "real" smartphone users. iPhones are phones that work best for two kinds of people: 1. Those who want a smartphone but don't really know how to use one, and 2. Those who like their phone to be a fashion statement. For those people, it's a great phone. For others, it isn't.
