What size capacitor??

I have on the way a re xxx 15 and aq 2200 and 0 gauge wire and fuse.. Now I need a capacitor but I ain't for sure what size I need where it doesn't hurt my alt and dim my lights and all that much.. Bc this is just a temporary truck and I'm not buying a ho alt and doing big 3 and all that so I need yalls help.. Thanks

1/2 farad will do for that amp. you will have no issues.

Thanks 01limited.. And well idk what to do now.. I'm not upgrading my alt and doing the big 3.. That's just a waste of money since I'm not keeping the truck.. And from all that stuff I just read a cap just adds more resistance.. So what else is there to help me..

get a good bat up front and run like a d3100 or 2 in the rear. then you can take it out.

If your not willing to do the required electrical work then don't even bother installing a system.
