36 hz isnt that high... What do you think i should tune it to?

Your signature said 38hz, so I figured you were going with that. I personally wouldn't go over 32hz with those subs, otherwise you're starting to get a little peaky in the upper 30's and lower 40's. But if you're looking for loud, 35hz would do a good job with those subs.

so for 4 15s in 12 cubes, should i be looking at dual 8 inch ports or a single 10?

Port length would be quite long, depending on where he's wanting to tune at. 28" each for a 32hz tune.
