What should I tune the ports to?

Tune it to 44 hz and blast some 20 hz test tones :). Your tuning depends on what mix of spl/sq you want and what kind of music you listen to. Generally lower tuning = sq and higher tuning = spl. I'm not a big tuning expert but I'm sure somebody else has something to say.
