What should i tune my Type X 12" to?

i'm looking to build a box for this thing, but i don't really know what freq to tune to. i have someone helping me design it. I want it to get as low as possible without losing any top end, if possible. it will be running off the same amp in my sig. any ideas/ experiences?

I ran mine daily at 1200 watts rms in 3.25 cu ft tuned close to 32-35hz. I liked it. Still tight and clean but it got down on the lows.

i think my current MTX setup is at ~35. it doesnt get as low as i would like. i wanna go lower. what would it sound like at like 28-30? would i lose higher end bass response?

I dont have any experence with the sub, but I think a 30-32 tune would work out best. 32Hz is a nice tune, flat across the board. 28hz is kind of low for a car, and you will lose some upper end, but it also depends on the sub. Decided to hang on to it huh?

If you're after lows, stay sealed, try 1.5cF.
