What should i power my CDT's with...

I have the cdt hd-52 set, with upgraded tweets and crossovers, says its 150 watts rms, i already have an ed NINe.1 for the sub, so i wanted to get another from ed to match, I cant decide on weather to get the .4 or the .2 amp... heres the specs for each.

NINe.2

400x1 @ 4 ohm

150x2 @ 2 ohm

100x2 @ 4 ohm

NINe.4

65 x 4 @ 4 Ohms Stereo

100 x 4 @ 2 Ohms Stereo

150 x 2 @ 4 Ohms Stereo

Im going to be needing the 150 x 2, the only difference between the two is one is in stero (wtf?) and the other offers 2 ohms less in what i need...

What do you guys think?

cdt hd52's are 4 ohm components...

you can't use the rated power at 2 ohms, just the rated post at 4 ohms.

so, you'll need the nine.4

idk. he seems kinda noobish (no offense) and if he underpowers them and clips them, there's gonna be problems.

get the nine.2, run them in 4 ohms so they get 100 watts each UNBRIDGEd and leave the gain at a moderate level dont turn it up TOO much.

Im not "noobish" i know what im doing, just a close friend over at another forum (fryguy) told me these were 2 ohm... later found out they were 4... thought he knew his shit so i didnt look to much into it, until i started getting mixed answerers.

Im going to be getting the .4, i upgraded the tweets and xovers also, so theres more power, cant go wrong with the 150 x 2

Diamond D5600.2s are selling for under 200.00 on ebay and it will smoke a 9.4/9.2 and realy kick some life into your CDTs
