So any ways she wants to get into entry level compition. What would be a good system to get her. She drives a 1999 Buick Century Custom. Thyanks All!

why don't you do what would have normally done, for competition that is, if you have no knowledge then find out what you have to do/have in order to get into these competitions

Here is something Budget, that should help you win a couple competitions, provided you build or get some one to design the perfect box for it

so you are looking at $300 (search around for cheaper prices) + S&H + Box Design $4~$10 ask anybody on form to help you + Box materials (home depot $20) + IMO use 1/0 guage wire (buy kit off ebay $60) and do the BIG 3 Upgrade So all in all total cost mightbe $400~450

This set up should keep your gf busy in some competitions. Personaly i have never been in any, but if i had the money i would start with this. b/c i wouldn't have to upgrade my system in 4-6 months

If she's serious, I'd invest in a mic, a physics textbook, a lot of wood, and a lot of test time before equipment ... It's all in the install ...

ok to start off, not trying to be an jack but i want yall to know some about me first, i know how to build/design boxes as i have done many b4, and i also do fiberglass now, i understand most the physics aspects of the whole ordeal. ok now for her i am thinking of entering her in NSPL as the have alot of cometeions in the NC/SC area and thought that that would be good for here to start. She drives a 1999 Buick Century Custom, so plenty of room. The setup will be for comp only as she either drives my truck or the S2K daily. I want something affordable and i plan on starting her in a beginging class either 0-500 or 501-1000.

I have a 98 Century, you cant put "anything" in it.... There isnt much trunk room.
