What should I do?

Wow...... don't know how this got turned into a racial thing.

I have worked for both Mexican and U.S. owned companies. Business is business - the only color they care about is green - so it can be crappy at times. lol

Most of the contractors in my part of the world are Mexican but thats just because they are the majority of the workforce. Skilled trade and general labor are both contracted. There can be more than 5 contracting companies at any given time so its kinda hard to find out who is working for who.

Anyway, suppose to have a meeting tomorrow (if they dont suddenly get too busy with a meeting). I do plan on contacting my insurance company tomorrow. As my vehicle is paid off I dont know how much help the insurance will be. I am going to wait on the Attorney as a last resort. I can only imagine the retaliation I would have to deal with - like I said crappy at times.

Cant see loosing my job over something like this - just doesn't seem right.

I dont think your employer would have the guts to terminate you over this. I ran this by an HR buddy of mine and he says if there is any retaliation, such as termination, you have grounds to take them to court (wrongful termination).

Another avenue I failed to mention is if you are union. If you are, your union rep would love to handle it for you.

As for the racial thing, I'm sorry for that. As a Mexican-American, yes I was born here so luckily I'll get to stay, I sometimes get offended with certain topics. Maybe I'm a little sensitive when it comes to race issues. Morningwood, you are black so for sure you know what I'm talking about, being a fellow minority. If you are not black, then ur avatar is just plain weird.
