CAN SOME ONE TELL ME WHAT KIND OF BOX I SHOULD PUT IN THE TRUNK OF MY LEXUS.I HAVE 2 15.AND I HAVE THEM IN A SLOT PORTED PREFABED BOX.YA I KNOW.BUT SHOULD I GO FOR A SEALED ONE OR PORTED ONE.I LISTEN TO RAP.AND I WANT TO HEAR AND FEEL THE BASS.THAKS

well the subs i have are 15s.i have two of them.and the manuel says they each need 4.5 cubic feet of air space per chamber tuned to 35 htz.i have them in a ported box right now that is way to small for them like 3 cubes.and i barly have any space.i might have to make them sealed:crap:

i think you should back the **** up from the cap lock key. and then use a ported box given that you have enough air space to work with.

Do you know the brand of the subs? 4.5 is a lot, you sure you have space to make a proper box for both? Maybe try one first?. What kind of lexus do you have?

cap locks???well any way i have a big body lexus LS 4OO.what sucks about it is that the gas tank is right behind the seats so its all sealed up.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif the subs are ma audio d4s.i sounded kinda big to me too.it comes up to being 9 cubes for two 15s..crazy.and my amp gets really hot at 1 ohm. is this because iam not getting enough power to it.cuz it says its 1 ohm stable.

Its normal for it to get hot. My 2500d used to get super hot down in FL. 9 cudes is big. Maybe try running just one of the subs in a good ported box and see how you like it? Measure your trunk and see if you can fit some of the boxes found here
