What should i be expecting?

I completed my install last night with my sundown 1500 and my HDC3 10" and i am not very impressed.... was i just expecting to much out of 1 ten or did i do somthing wrong? The sub is in the rear sit with port and sub firing forward, in a 2008 f-150

Voltage never dips below 13.3, ground has no resistance, rcas are good, gains are set about 3/4 of the way up(no distortion) and i dont know whats up? so do you think its a problem or me just expecting to much?

what is the size and tuning of the box? and also check and see if your filters are on or what there at. and try your box in different positions to see if anything else works better

does the sub get some decent excursion?

how did you set the gains? may want to reset them using gain setting tutorial, im not a fan of it, but it does give an idea of where it should be

ya its excusion in good,probably upwards of two inches. Box is about 1.25 after all displacements and tuned to about 36Hz....

could phase or bass boost be a problem

well i know 1 10" in my 2005 f150 4 door didnt cut it for me...where exactly is the box

its on the middle rear bench seat kinda like a large armrest.... with the port and sub firing froward into the cabin.... would turning it port and sub up help?

can you downfire it in the middle behind the front console?... and try turning it up with the 60/40 seat on the 60 side with the seat up in the back corner..
