what kind of subs should i get, and how will they sound

I am going to but some subs for my 86 pontac fiero...they will be placed right behind the seats, in a custom made wall...

i can fit 2 10" subs....1 behind each seat....i am wondering what subs to buy though....any help would be GREAT!!!!

my choices are.....

2, 10" pioneer premier impp subs

2, 10" infinity kappa subs

2, 10" mtx's the fatty ones

or 2, 10" sony xplod subs

i dont know which one will sound best i dont know anything when it comes to this....plz help!!

if you are lookin for sq i woudl go with the infinity but for spl the mtx or poineer should be okay. i have personaly owned the sonys and i didntt hink they sounded very good, but it might have been the enclosure.

like the above post if you want sq get the infinitys, spl get the mtx's stay away from the sony's. i've heard them (2 different sizes) at the shop and they just don't get loud.

just thinking out loud, i would probably do the infinity's. i've heard they can hit and in a car as small as the fiero i think they will give you the best of sq and spl

Go with the Infinity or MTX subs, but if you are looking for less expensive go with Pioneer. If you are looking for sound quality and high dB levels go with Infinity. If you are looking for decent sound replication and high dB levels go with MTX.

Next to alpine MTX is another kick ass subwoofer, my buddy had 2 10 inch thunder 6000's in his fiero and it was awesome!
