It is contemplation time, dual alts or more batts. In order to play for extended periods at a time he will need the batts though..... One alt that does decent power will be sufficient as long as you have the batts!

I was thinking 2) 220 amp alts and 4 d3100 batts and a big batt up front. Plus the big 3 of course.

alts only help in driving and charging situations though..

Batteries if you're listening to it with the vehicle off, Alts if you listen with the vehicle on. Either way you'll need a few batts.

Seems meade ran 10k watts ( 2x T4000 amps + mids and shiz) off 5 yellow tops and 2 40 farad caps i believe. That was 1 alt..Like a 220 iraggi i think. Mightve been 4 yellowtops..dont remember.

wow, 2 40 farad caps? that must have done wonders on his electrical....and i honestly doubt he ran 8k on 4 or 5 yt's and a 220 amp alt. he must have had horrible drops

Dual alts + 4 Big Batts + 1 under hood would be the ideal situation.

2x 40 farad rockford caps and like 4-5 yellowtops..1 was under the hood..Lemme find it..220 amp alt on 2x RE 18s walled in his civic..2x T4000s..ill see if i can find it

4x Yellowtops i believe..1 under hood.. 2 RF 40 caps..iraggi 220 alt i believe. Dont feel like reading to see how his voltage was averaging..Not trying to start shit just sayin..Depending on his voltage it may be possible. Looks like a 31 under the hood and the 3 in the back are bigger..

I would get at least group 27 sized if not group 31. Like kinetik hc2000's or hc2400's or oddyssey 1750's or 2150's. 4 in back and wire a 2200 amp off each battery to try to evenly spread the connections out within the bank.
