What is the biggest baddest 5-6 channel on the market??

zapco 650.6 DC reference. setup from a lap top, everything is digital. no adjustments on the amp at all. 10 band EQ per channel, digital time delay, etc...

I'd like a pair of those for my own setup. But not until I know for sure they are free of noise issues. I know a few that cant seem to shake the noise off. We'll see.

Do you know what the power specs on it are?

i am not completely sure on the 650. i will have one in my dads car soon though. i have a 1100.1 dc and a 1000.4 dc for my truck. they sounds absolutly awesome, and i took out my zap EQ. no noise problems at all. we just pulled them out a week ago since i put my truck up for sale. the new system will be really cool though. i am keeping the 1000.4 for my comps, but i think i am going with a 750 dc on the sub, since its going to be one DD 8" ported, hopefully, if room permits. if not, i am going to have bomb *** sets of components front and rear off that 1000.4. rear fill is super cool now since you have delay. every note is louder and more defined, since everything is working in unison. the sub and rear fill are perfectly matched to the front stage.

Well hopefully its more than say 50x 6...cause thats not enough headroom for my needs. And If I were to rid of my amps it would only be to run 2 amps total...one 5ch/6ch perside but I need at least 500rms @2ohms for the subs and 3sets of inputs

Only amps that fit that bill is the A7 and the Arc Foose 6ch that is coming out. I believe the Foose will be ~80 x4, 125 x 2 (chs 5/6 making 400 rms bridged at 4ohm, ~500rms at 2ohm) Which ideally watt per watt can replace all my amps just about.

But what nice about the Zap is no need for processor.

exactly, i took my EQ out. i had them in my truck for almost two months and i fell in love with them.

i think the *** end on that amp is like 500 watts, leaving 75x4 for the highs/mids, but that is probably going to be at like 2 ohms. i am not sure though,c all and check with zapco.

YO!!!! Just paid for in full!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The A7 should be on the way to me Monday! WOOHOO! He described it as cosmetically perfect and perfect working order, just hope I do not get hosed by another hoser from Canada! His emails have been prompt and to the point... so far so good! WIll give him mad props if all is as he says it is with the amp woohoo!

I am just really concerned about shedding heat on this amp. I know it has a fan output and it will be used! I wanted it layed under glass so I will have to work a cooling system out for it. Thing put out close to 900w all class a/b in a somewhat small chassis... glad the car has ac!
