What is absolutely necessary to run this properly?

your gonna need a high output alt... and some about 4 batt's...
You sir have lost your mind. The amp is 2k rms and for that power with the highs amp one batt in the back would be fine. A ho alt isn't totally needed but, should be highly recommended.

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif....yes murph, i believe u r correct that i have loss my mind (I seem to be under a spell it seems and i must have it:crazy:) and i will take into consideration the suggestion made by NASTY08IMPALA though i still do not know exactly what kind or how many batteries i need and/or alternator. So i am thinking

3 AGM batteries (1 under under) (1 @ each amp).....but i want to know exactly what type @ each location

1 HO alt 240amps

1. Take the rest of the recommendations here.... And throw them out the window.

2. Get the biggest alternator you can. You'll thank me later.

3. AGM battery in the stock location

4. 1-2 banks of ultracaps or G31 batteries in the back, if you must...

It takes power to make power. Alternators make power. Ultracaps and batteries store power, but ultracaps do so much more efficiently.

Start with high output alternator, put biggest agm battery you can fit up front and then one more agm in the back.either get same one as front or bigger.you can spend a lot of money on agms or a little less if going with a different brand than an "audio" battery.start with two batteries if voltage drops too much then add a third

Should be good to go without those fuses. Read the manual that comes with the new stereo. If it doesn’t say to add additional fuses, don’t.
