What is a good setup for stock electrical and 3.5 cubes gross?

I have about 3.5 cubes of space before wood, port, sub, and bracing. And I don't want to put an extra battery in my car or high powered alternator. What could be a loud setup for this? I'm stuck between one HDS312, one HDS310, one American Bass XFL 12 or 10, or maybe a sub that does well in a sealed box. I'm going to guess and say my stock electrical can only support maybe 1krms.

I am thinking about a nice beefy 8" now. Just because I really would rather not take up my entire hatch area. Would something like a sundown x-8 on its max power, 750-1000rms, be louder than the cheap little 300rms 15" I have right now? Or is the cone area too much of a factor?

What's with these people lately???

You might wanna beef up the electrical 1st before adding anything audio. Otherwise, you'll strain it. At least the big 3. This way you'll have better than ok power flow.

I'm not trying to make my car an audio car. I've done builds in the past, I know that electrical is critical. But I'm not putting more batteries or a better alternator in my car. I just want the most bang I can get out of the stock electrical. And also I like making boxes.

I went out and measured and I actually have 3.9 cubes after subtracting 1.5 from each dimension (0.75 inch MDF).

And yeah I know that taramps amps don't need that much electrical behind it. Im thinking about getting the hd3000. I had one before in my truck and it was ok.

Did you happen to notice everyone else is saying batteries and suggesting 7k amps??? HO alt...what have ya?!

I didn't. Therefor stuck to what your plans are. Not once did I suggest an extra battery or HO alt. But...I strongly recommend the big 3. that's it. I don't think you understand when the stock wiring isn't suffice enough to carry more amperage loads than if you were to upgrade the big 3. But hey....as you said, your car. You say you've done builds in the past so...

yeah I know. I might go as far as doing the big three but that's it.
