What HZ do i set gains with?

my 1000/1 should arrive soon. what HZ test tone do i need to set my gain with? sub = 13w7 and my box is 2.25 cubes sealed (if thats needed).

Thats a good question. I've always set mine to music. But what the hell do I know? Maybe someone else could answer that better.

50hz for subs, 1000hz for mids/highs.

The tone must be at 0db (no boost or cut)

I use the CD "the best of food for woofers", I play the tone on repeat.

I just use this for a starting piont, after setting for the desired voltage I drive around and listen to it and bump up the gain in small increments until im happy.

cool thanx. i just got that assload of test tones off the linky in the gain setting sticky. i just didnt know what test tone to use. thanx
