I think it has to do with tuning/ RF/ AMP/Woofer(s) etc so try your system out.. I wouldn't know as I played most of my music in the 30s

Also depends on your settings, where are your filters set to? Depends what the amplifier is set to let through as well.

This would depend on your ENCLOSURE!!!

Your enclosure determines the impedance profile of your subwoofer. Basically, when resistance is less your amp pulls more.
