What else do i need?

I'm collecting all the parts and pieces to build my system, but I'm not sure what else I would need? Do I need a capacitor? new battery? and i need info on all the wires i need...what gauge? what type of rcas? distribution blocks? any help would be great!!

so heres what i got:

Eclipse CD7000 with harness wires

CDT EF-51 components which will be hooked up to...

AudioArt Na- 2120x (240 watt amp)

MB Quart QM 160 which will be hooked up to...

4-channel Alpine MRP F-257

Memphis 16-CX35A crossover

Memphis CA300 (150 watt x 2) that I will hook up to a 12" orion hcca sub, that ive yet to purchase...

Why are you using the crossover? I don't know a lot about the Eclipse CD7000, but it has 3 preouts. It must have some crossovers in it to low pass the sub out and high pass the other 2. You don't need the external crossover then.

Here's what I'd get:

-2 distro blocks with 1/0 in and 4 out. One needs to be fused, the other doesn't matter

-35 feet of 1/0 gauge power wire, enough for power, ground, and the big 3

-20 feet of 4 or 8 gauge, it depends on what kind of power inputs the amps have...so check on that and get back to us

-100 feet of 14 gauge speaker wire. Brand isn't a big deal, I get 50 foot spools of the generic car audio brand at Walmart for like $13.

-3 pairs of 20 foot RCAs. KnuKonceptz is a great brand, I am running them and am very happy with them. Not too expensive either.

-20 feet of 14 gauge wire used for the remote line.

-A crapload of crimp terminals (disconnects, ring terminals, butt connectors), all sizes of heat shrink, a lighter, electrical tape, and liquid electrical tape.

the rear mb quartz speakers and the crossover are free which is why i have em, figured theres nothing wrong with the option of rear fill, i can fade front and back whenever.

As for my amps...

The only info i could find on the alpine was:

"Alpine MRV-F257 1998-1999 280 watts Rms "

Audioart is 240 watt

Memphis is 120x2

im guessin itd be best to just get both the distro blocks and rcas from knukonceptz?

Yeah, I wasn't aware that rear fill had a ****** preference either. I guess if you think about the words "rear fill" enough they could possibly allude to something, but only if your mind is in the gutter.

I would reccomend upgrading your subwoofer amp.. maybe to a 1000w mono amp..

hmm, i may look into the amp, depends on my budget...how necessary is a new battery with my setup? and what new batt would i be lookin at.?
