I want to upgrade my system a little bit.
This is for a daily driver.
I looking to run a total of 2000 watts RMS, with a maximum around 4000 or so, and right now, I have no electrical upgrades at all, and my alternator is stock, pushing out 105 amps right now...
Would it be possible for me to run that much power right now? I figure it would kill my electrical system. But I want to know would it work at all, like without me having my battery totally drained, and me not being to start up my car?
I want to do the big three with all 1/0 gauge wire, as long as picking up a 200 amp alternator... Will that be enough to run 2000 watts rms? Or will I need an extra battery, and stuff to run the power I want for daily driving?
I can deal with light dimming, but I don't want my car to just shut down on me.
