The type r will be loud enough, Pioneer subs aren't the greatest subs and Type R's are the best budget subs to get loud with on a small amount of power.....

I normally dont like recommending specific brands or models anymore, but I have to say I think you hit the nail on the head there. Best bang for your buck choices in their price range.

do you guys think it will sound better than what I have now? I have a jl audio 10w3v2 in a sealed box pushing 300 watts rms. I put polyfill in it and it didn't do anything.....
