01 blazer.

13-16 city 20-24 highway. I don't drive it hard. it's a blazer and it's slow. No need to wromp on it.

use to have a 96 contour, 4 cyl auto. 20-25 city and 32-36 mpg highway. at once point i hit 40mpg on an all highway trip. That car was great on gas but poor on everything else. Lol.

u got a mk2?
no. I wish. I wanted a Dub for a loooooong time.

My dad and his girl got a B4 Passat back in the day and thats what started the addiction. I was so fascinated by them. I was also like 11.

Then I turned my attention to the mark 3 because a family friend had got a Jazz Blue DE GTi and it was gorgeous in my eyes. That was about the time I also stumbled upon VW Vortex haha.

Then a friend of mine got a 16valve mark 2 and took me on a ride through the mountains and to a couple of Dubber meets.

Great cars and such a stellar community of owners and enthusiasts!

I Still want one!!!

my 08 HHR gets about 35mpg on the hwy and about 28 in town...not too bad for a small SUV ...mine is a 5spd with 2.0 engine...I hope it gets better in the summer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yours is in great shape man! and yeah I know what you mean about not wanting to trade it for anything. Those mark 2's are total gems!

I Feel like thats where VW really made their mark on the auto industry!

Nothing wrong with the 8 valve, thing is a solid work horse. Practically bullet proof!

I'd buy a shell for the 16 valve and keep the 8 valve //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

VWFixx eh? how do you like it there?
