oh yea i forgot my 85 mustang gt. paid $2000 , 12 mpg average.

pros: 360 hp makes it extremely fun to drive and it gets alot of attention.

cons: 12mpg, 2nd gear is going out and i can hardly afford to drive it.

In the non winter months I drive an 84 Cutlass Supreme with a mostly stock 74 350 Rocket, O/D ***** and 2.56 gears. I've gotten up to 25mpg on a straight highway trip doing a steady 70mph. Normally in mixed highway and city driving it gets around 18-20mpg. When I had the 3.73 gears in it it got about 18-20mpg all the time.

My winter beater is an 83 Delta 88 with the 307 and O/D ***** and I've gotten 28mpg highway with it back in the summer when I first got it. Now it's getting around 20 in mixed driving.
