What do I need to install a head unit myself?

I'm interested in buying a Pioneer CD player for my truck.

The thing is I'll probably buy it from Best buy because I have a $50 gift card.

What will I need to install it myself? I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota.

I would just have them install it for 50 if it was me.....just my opinion

The cost vs. work isnt that much so itd be worth it in my eyes

just buy a deck and they'll do free install...

edit: just saw theirs s $50.

Never pay for install. just buy the accessories. All you should need is a screwdriver, a dash kit, wiring harness and some butt splices.

Do it yourself, I worked at Bestbuy last summer and I seen the guys in our shop treat some people cars like shit. Plus you would know more about you vehicle.

Some people are better off having the install done professionally.
