What do i need for a second battery?

Im gonna do some more reading before I do any ordering. I dont FULLY understand the isolators, I just thought they kept the stereo from draining the main battery. If I run 2 2500s off of the rear battery, will one run of 1/0 with an isolator be ok?

I'm planning on doing this too very soon? What's the reason for getting the Kinetik 2400 for the back instead of a 2nd yellowtop? Are the Kinetiks superior cuz I was just planning on buying another yellow top?
