Alright, i have checked everywhere inside and there is no way where i can insert my 1/0 and 4 awg wire through the firewall. So now, i am here with my last resort, and would love for you guys to confirm this action.

Can i be able to run my 1/0 through the corner hood down to my running boards? Where there it will go through under the running boards then enter the trunk. Is this safe?

i dont know about the safety of that, not saying its not, i just dont know. but as far as the going through the firewall, theres usually not a place already there to use, i use the uni-bit and make one with an electric drill

x2 uni-bit FTW...i have three one inch holes in my fire wall haha...

but if you do leave it outside, which i would try not to do, get some of them semi-circle clamps, that you screw down on either side to make sure it dont move and rub, and i would keep it away from hot exhaust also, LOL

I wouldnt risk it with all the damn debri on the roads these days.....since you couldnt find a hole in the firewall, MAKE ONE.

yea i guess ill just make one. i just hope i find a good place to make a hole //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Im lazy and didnt feel like drilling a hole through my firewall so I ran my wire pretty much the same way. Its been like that for a few years now with no problems in several different types of climates. As long as it doesnt rub, and isnt visible from the outside, I dont see any problems.

usually, if you peel back the carpet under the dash, you will find a good spot, and dont forget(like i did at one time) to run your power wires on the opposite side from your RCA wires. good luck.

I actually did this on a friends Escort. I ran it in between the fender frame and ddor and then ran it down under the carpet and to the back. There were no problems
