what DB readings should i get with a single DD 2515?

I have no recollection of the tuning of my box... I think he said it was 38 or so. I actually have no clue so this could be a totally different number. All i know was that mine was 135@48hz. Im still unsure on how these numbers come about but as far as i know, 144dbs at 28hz is about twice as loud. Again, i havent had much experience with this until about a week ago

his box did peak at 28hz...have seen him at many shows and he was always around 43.5-44 with it... his setup was a downfiring setup..he also had work done on that box by basically the 2 most respected shops/box guys in Fresno......that said, your kicker is actually a pretty solid amp. I dont know how hard those cars are to get loud, but with an optimal box, you will absolutely see a huge difference..one of my teammates is local, and does good box work...pm me if you would like

YGPM.Yea chris seems legit (only knew him for about 30 minutes) and as soon as i talked to him, i could tell he doesnt fukc around lol yea he recommended i go to audio innovations or clovis custom audio. I was around AI and i stopped by. The price was a bit out of my budget, but im willing to save up. and these cars are fairly difficult to get loud.

Ive given this some thought but for now, im more leaning toward a proper box and some nice car speakers. Im pretty torn between the two, and its giving me a headache.

If you need a different design I can draw you one up. By how you've described his enclosure, it might not be that much louder. If you could get the specs on it I could tell you.

yea without a doubt but the issue is i DONT lol but im willing to save up. unless your teammate can do it.

umm only specs i can get would probably be external measurements. thats about as much as i can probably do. ill post them in the morning when theres light to actually find a tape and measure

the enclosure will make or break a system.
thegreatestpenn on here was hitting 140 or just over with a pair of explode 12s.

moral of the story is, its all in the box.

i know guys that can break 150 for about 175$.. defiately experience and box building is a must
